Millennium Tower

Millennium Tower is wrapped in a helical structure totally integrated with the tapering cylindrical form. The first 600 meters of the tower is occupiable space and the total edifice reaches 800 meters to the top of its open lattice structure. The tower's footprint of 130 m diameter is almost identical to a baseball field and the gross area is over 1,000,000 m². It provides intelligent office accommodation for a working population of 17,000 and residential accommodation for 2,000. Millennium Tower will provide a totally new urban concept. It will demonstrate an alternative to alienating, polluting, fragmented existing urban development. It will simulate a revival of man's enjoyment of his environment and endeavor. It will contribute to the primary task of making better places to live and work. Informed by the past, conscious of the problems of the present, Millennium Tower will provide a stunning prototype for the future.
