Failures in anchor wedges and their solutionsThe Spanish standards for anchors urge the suppliers or manufacturers of this product to submit the elements of the anchors to a rigourous quality control. Our purpose is to achieve from the desifner that he asks for the necessary tests in order to check the characteristics of these elements. Several problems are exposed dealing with anchors which have been studied in the LABORATORIO CENTRAL of the CEDEX. The causes of failure are analyzed, and the suitable solutions to this problem are exposed. |
