Umbraced structures in reinforced concrete. Second order deformations

It is shown in this article the calculation of structures considering the second order deformations. Fistly, the simplified methods to study the buckling of isolated structural members are revised. The matrix calculation of structures by means P-Delta analysis is shown in a simplified version and in a more accurate one, that uses the diagrams of materials. Finally an alternate method is presented. It is a method that, considering the second order deformations of an isolated member, consideres as well the constraints that the whole structure makes over it.
