Abstrakt: |
This paper presents an experimental study on the cross-sectional capacity and flexural buckling resistance under fire conditions. Steady state stub and slender column tests were carried out at ambient and elevated temperatures on square and rectangular hollow sections as well as H-sections. In addition, transient state slender column tests were performed on H-section test specimens. The compressive load was applied centrically or eccentrically to the test specimens. The paper presents the testing programme, the geometry of the test specimens including initial geometrical imperfection measurements, elevated temperature material properties, test setup, the execution and the results of the stub and slender column tests. |
