Design thermal actions in concrete T-beam bridge

In the present paper, the thermal response of concrete T-beam bridgesin front of envoironmental thermal effects is analyzed. the application of a general methodology in order to determine the thermal actionsto be considered in design of concrete bridges allows to know the effective temperature range of the deck and the thermal gradients in concrete T-beam bridges located on the Iberian Peninsula. The results derived from this study are compared with those obtained by means of several expressions existing in national codes.
