Abstract:

The overall operation of Hongqiao Integrated Transportation Hub commenced at the end of 2010.This article provides comprehensive introduction on Hongqiao Integrated Transport hub, including the derivation of the project, its function positioning (the status of the transport hub in Yangtze Delta River area and city of Shanghai ), development planning(in order to make investment and expenses balance), planning of road traffic( the bus system is given priority), planning of the information system(a screen shown with schedule information for each traffic mode), planning of intermodal transportation of air-rail(the key is to realize remote check in at Yangtze Delta) and planning of disaster prevention (setting up an allied emergency command center). These explorations provide lots of experiences to the booming construction of integrated transport complex.
