The Royal Danish Theatre's new playhouse is directly located on the central harbour front in Copenhagen. Engineers from PERI Denmark provided the contractors with a complete solution using cost-effective use of innovative systems

PERI TRIO panel formwork on FB 180 folding platforms were economically used for constructing the reinforced concrete walls. PERI UP scaffolding units allowed reinforcement and concreting work along with formwork shuttering and striking to take place from safe working levels. At the same time, the units served as passage from wall side to the other

PERI UP stair towers with alternating staircase units were used to provide safe access to the various working levels consisting of FB 180 folding platforms

The lightweight aluminium MULTIPROP system with its high load-bearing capacity could be moved in large, connected units resulting in considerable time savings

The building, with a front facade made of copper and glass, cantilevers in part over the harbour basin and is supported on reinforced concrete piles over the surface of the water
