Transformed into a road tunnel.

19 April 2004 — 2007

Renovation works to increase security in the tunnel. Estimated costs: 180 million euros of which 108 million are slated for the construction of a security access tunnel of 5.20 meters in diameter and located parallel to the existing tunnel as well as works in the existing tunnel.

Notes

This is the longest road tunnel located entirely on French territory.
