The Muse Shopping Centre: Largest private Jobsite in France
The Muse Shopping Centre in Metz is the largest private jobsite in France. Its total area is 160,000 m². The project not only targets French visitors, but also visitors from Luxembourg and Germany.
60,000 m³ of concrete and 4,000 t of steel were used for the construction of the shopping centre. Up to now, Technique Béton has delivered 11,000 l of a vegetable based mould release agent that meets the project requirements regarding high quality surface finishes as well as the environmental requirements on this jobsite. Furthermore, 26 t of a single-component fiber-reinforced repair mortar were supplied for the structural finishing of the building shells.
In particular, a fast-setting repair mortar was used. Furthermore, 16-30 cm concrete cones and plugs were used together with 63 t of a finishing coat mortar for the aesthetic finish.
