Composite bridges

Considering the "youthfulness" of the composite bridge technologie, it is easy to understand that the number of available standards for their project and construction is quite limited. It doesn't mean, however, that the number of typologies of these bridges is short. This paper gives a view of the different composite bridges typologies built in the world. Cross-sections and elevations of some of these bridges are included. To finish, some ideas about the difficulties, assumptions and aspects that should be considered in the future Part 2, "bridges", of EC4, are given.
