Abstract:

At the Düsseldorf airport, the so far highest airport tower of the DFS GmbH (German air traffic control) measuring 85 m is currently being finished. Following the towers in Hannover and Leipzig, it is the third member within a uniform design concept for airport towers in Germany. This paper presents the design concept and structural features.
