Abstract:

The present day hyperbolic cooling towers are exceptional structures in view of their sheer size and complexities. Over the past decades, about 85 hyperbolic cooling towers have been built in India at several thermal and nuclear power stations, and 12 more towers under various stages of construction. The hyperbolic cooling towers at Haryana is the highest cooling tower in India.
