The Railway bridge near HämertenDuring construction of the railway track between Berlin and Hannover an Elbe-river crossing near Hämerten was needed in 1870/71. This railway track, also called "Lehrter Bahn", became later famous in the whole Reich. Almost kids knew the "Lehrter Bahnhof". But who only knows Hämerten at all? |
