In order to create easier and more efficient dimensioning guidelines for the flexural slenderness of plates and beams made out of reinforced concrete the equations are extended on the basis of [1]. It turned out to be useful to consider plates and downstand beams separately. In the following the design of plates and cantilever plates is discussed.
