Abstract:

Two foot bridges at Sant Sadurní d?Anoia

The article shows two steel elevated pathways having similar features, built in Sant Sadurní d?Anoia. In both cases the structure is continuous, with spans whose maximum length is over 27 m. The pathways are formed by approaching ramps and a main segment wich crosses the BV-2244 road. The dross section of the first segment consists of a two boxgirder structure, connected by IPE 180 rolled shapes. External surfaces are bent to improve the appearance of the bridge. The ramps are built of UPN 260 rolled shapes connected by IPE 180. The result is a couple of light and slim structures, which fit adequately with the environment.
