Second order ultimate load of arbitrary arches, calculated with help of the plastic hinge rotation.It is shown how simply the ultimate capacity of arbitrary arches can be predicted in good coincidence with in situ measurements, even without computer, if the plastic hinge rotation and the resistances of the construction materials are known. |
