Abstract:

The authors have proposed a Universal Equivalent Static Wind Load (ESWL) that simultaneously reproduces the largest load effects on all structural members[1,2]. It is applied to various long-span structures to verify its accuracy. It is clarified that the Universal ESWL can be applied to any building shape and structural type, and has high accuracy and extendibility.
