| 19 April 1905 | Ministerial decision for the reconstruction of the bridge. Four projects are proposed. |

| 28 July 1908 | The project proposed by the firms Daydé and Creil is approved for a lump sum of 893 000 French Francs. |
| 15 April 1944 | Mines placed by the German army are triggered in a violent gale. The bridge explodes. |
