Ministerial decision for the reconstruction of the bridge. Four projects are proposed.

28 July 1908

The project proposed by the firms Daydé and Creil is approved for a lump sum of 893 000 French Francs.

15 April 1944

Mines placed by the German army are triggered in a violent gale. The bridge explodes.
