Abstract:

The objective of this paper is to describe the cable stayed bridge situated in Real Parque Complex, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. This structure is important to connect the Jornalista Roberto Marinho Avenue with the Marginal do Rio Pinheiros Avenue, important city thoroughfares.

Due to existing traffic lanes and many public services companies interferences, these cable stayed bridges have a lot of particularities that make it unique great architectural and structural appeal (two overlapped decks with a constant curvature, the single “X” shape tower supporting both decks and the geometry of the cables are some of the exclusive characteristics of this project).
